With several years experience within the fitness industry, both in training and working at different gyms and leisure centres around the south, I went on to study a BA (Hons) Fitness and Personal Training degree at Southampton Solent University. After undergoing required theory and practical examinations I was able to gain a place on the Register Of Exercise Professionals (REPS). Gaining their nationally recognized qualifications.

I have studied in other relevant fields such as first aid, client appraisal, client assessment, gym training and group exercise, nutrition (healthy eating and behaviour change), advanced gym instructor, and advanced personal training.

Training in a gym or leisure centre can make it hard for people to maintain discipline and motivation, with constant distractions and sometimes unprofessional advice which can lead to injury, wasting time, and other negative results.
